About Your Instructor

Dr.Ā Levi Skipper serves as the Senior Pastor of Sagemont Church in Houston, Texas. He previously served as the Vice President of Church Strengthening for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board where he served with the Georgia Baptist Convention 2019-2023. Prior to his service with the Georgia BaptistĀ Mission Board, he served as pastor of two Baptist churches in Georgia. Levi is a graduate of Shorter CollegeĀ and received his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, followed byĀ his Doctorate in Ministry at Luther Rice University. HeĀ has been married to his wife Christa since 2000, and they have four children who are in their teens and 20s: Garrison, Mattie, Gavin, and Marlee.
